He is a former assistant AML compliance officer at Security Bank from September 2013 to February 2019. He also worked at China Bank for over 21 years and holding key positions such as Branch Operations Head, Clearing Officer and Assistant AML Compliance Officer since the year 2000.

Mr. Nabong holds a degree of BSC Major in accounting from Bataan Heroes Memorial College in Balang, Bataan. He was also awarded with a certificate as an accredited AML lecturer. He successfully completed the Association of Bank Compliance Officers Certificate course in Strategic Compliance for the banking industry from the LaSalle University in 2014. He also passed the examination of the National Association of Data Protection Officers of the Philippines, Data Protection Officers Certification and Compliance Training on Data Privacy Act on January 15 to 18, 2020 at the University of Perpetual Help.
Mr. Nabong successfully completed the requirements of the 30th Certified Internal Control Auditor Program by the Institute of Internal Controls Philippines last November 11th to December 4th, 2020. He was also awarded with a Professional Certificate in Fraud Prevention and Detection by the Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants Philippines in February 2021.
